# Provider Green Bush Beans

Reliable heirloom green beans. 6" straight green pods with purple seeds. Excellent disease resistance, grows well in various conditions.

## Growing Instructions
### Sowing
Direct sow 1+ week after last frost (sensitive to cold). Rich, well-drained soil (pH 6.0-6.8), full sun. Sow 1" deep, 3" apart in rows 2-3' apart. Do not over water — rot in wet soil. Companion: carrots, corn, cucumbers.
### Germination
7-10 days at 60-85°F
### Care
Shallow roots need water at least weekly if dry. Mulch to conserve moisture and discourage weeds.
### Harvest
50-55 days. Pick when pods firm and seeds small.
## Soil & Conditions
- **pH:** 6.0-6.8, well-drained. Fix own nitrogen — don't fertilize heavily.
## Seed Storage
- **Viability:** 2-3 years. Viability drops after year 2. Store cool/dry.
- **Pre-treatment:** Soak 8-12h or nick seed coat. Germinates faster when soaked.
