<h1>Winter Review: Habitats and Food Chains</h1>
<h2>Week 20 &bull; Wednesday &bull; Life Science</h2>

<h3>📖 Reading Time</h3>
<div class="reading-box">
<p>Let's keep reviewing our winter science! We learned about habitats and food chains.</p>
<p>A habitat is where an animal lives. It gives food, water, and shelter. We studied forests, deserts, oceans, the Arctic, and grasslands. Each animal fits its habitat. A polar bear's fur fits the cold Arctic. A camel's body fits the dry desert.</p>
<p>A food chain shows how energy moves. It starts with the sun. Plants catch the sun's energy. Then animals eat the plants. Then bigger animals eat those animals. Grass, rabbit, fox is one food chain you know!</p>
<p>We also learned to sort living and non-living things. Living things grow, eat, and change. Non-living things do not.</p>
</div>

<h3>✏️ Warm-Up Questions</h3>
<p>1. What does a habitat give an animal?</p>
<div class="answer-line"></div>
<p>2. What starts every food chain?</p>
<div class="answer-line"></div>
<p>3. How do you know if something is living?</p>
<div class="answer-line"></div>

<h3>🔍 Activity: Living or Non-Living Sort</h3>
<p>Sort these into the chart: <strong>tree, rock, bird, water, mushroom, sunlight, worm, soil, flower, air</strong></p>
<table>
<tr><th>Living</th><th>Non-Living</th></tr>
<tr><td style="height:24px;"></td><td></td></tr>
<tr><td style="height:24px;"></td><td></td></tr>
<tr><td style="height:24px;"></td><td></td></tr>
</table>

<h1>Habitat Matching</h1>
<h2>Week 20 &bull; Wednesday &bull; Page 2</h2>

<h3>🔍 Habitat Match-Up</h3>
<p>Write the habitat where each animal belongs: <strong>forest, desert, ocean, Arctic, grassland</strong></p>
<table>
<tr><th>Animal</th><th>Habitat</th><th>How does its body fit the habitat?</th></tr>
<tr><td>polar bear</td><td style="height:24px;"></td><td></td></tr>
<tr><td>camel</td><td style="height:24px;"></td><td></td></tr>
<tr><td>whale</td><td style="height:24px;"></td><td></td></tr>
<tr><td>owl</td><td style="height:24px;"></td><td></td></tr>
<tr><td>zebra</td><td style="height:24px;"></td><td></td></tr>
</table>

<h3>📊 Observation Chart: My Winter Habitat</h3>
<p>Look outside. Winter is almost over! Record what you see.</p>
<table>
<tr><th>Question</th><th>My Observation</th></tr>
<tr><td>What animals do you see or hear outside now?</td><td style="height:24px;"></td></tr>
<tr><td>What are the plants doing?</td><td style="height:24px;"></td></tr>
<tr><td>What signs of spring can you find?</td><td style="height:24px;"></td></tr>
</table>

<h3>🎨 Drawing</h3>
<p>Draw an animal in its habitat. Show its food, water, and shelter.</p>

<h1>Food Chain Puzzle</h1>

<h3>🧠 Food Chain Puzzle</h3>
<p>Fill in the missing pieces of each food chain.</p>
