<h1>💧 All About Liquids</h1>
<h2>Week 8 • Monday • Properties of Liquid Matter</h2>
<h3>📖 Reading Time</h3>
<div class="reading-box">
<p>A liquid is matter that flows. A liquid does not keep its own shape. It takes the shape of its container. Pour milk into a tall glass. The milk becomes tall. Pour it into a wide bowl. The milk becomes wide!</p>
<p>Some liquids flow fast, like water. Some flow slowly, like honey. How fast a liquid flows is called viscosity. Honey has high viscosity. It is thick and slow. Water has low viscosity. It is thin and fast.</p>
<p>Some liquids do not mix. Oil floats on top of water. Oil is less dense than water. Density tells us how heavy something is for its size. The less dense liquid floats on top!</p>
<p>This week you will pour, time, and layer liquids like a scientist.</p>
</div>
<h3>✏️ Reading Questions</h3>
<p>1. What shape does a liquid take?</p>
<div class="answer-line"></div>
<p>2. Which flows more slowly, honey or water?</p>
<div class="answer-line"></div>
<p>3. What happens when you pour oil into water?</p>
<div class="answer-line"></div>
<p>4. What does viscosity tell us about a liquid?</p>
<div class="answer-lines-triple">

<h3>📝 Vocabulary Grid</h3>
<p style="font-size:10.5px; color:#555;">Write what each word means in your own words.</p>
<div class="vocab-grid">
<div class="vocab-card"><strong>liquid</strong><div class="line-row"></div><div class="line-row"></div></div>
<div class="vocab-card"><strong>flow</strong><div class="line-row"></div><div class="line-row"></div></div>

<h3>📊 Sort It: Fast or Slow Flow?</h3>
<p style="font-size:10.5px; color:#555;">Write "fast" or "slow" for how each liquid flows.</p>
<table>
<tr><th>Liquid</th><th>Fast or slow?</th></tr>
<tr><td>Water</td><td></td></tr>
<tr><td>Honey</td><td></td></tr>
<tr><td>Milk</td><td></td></tr>
<tr><td>Ketchup</td><td></td></tr>
<tr><td>Juice</td><td></td></tr>
<tr><td>Syrup</td><td></td></tr>
</table>
<h3>✏️ True or False</h3>
<p style="font-size:10.5px; color:#555;">Write T for true or F for false in each circle.</p>
<div class="tf-item"><span class="circle-box"></span> A liquid keeps its own shape.</div>
<div class="tf-item"><span class="circle-box"></span> Honey flows more slowly than water.</div>
<div class="tf-item"><span class="circle-box"></span> Oil floats on top of water.</div>
<div class="tf-item"><span class="circle-box"></span> Viscosity means how fast a liquid flows.</div>
<div class="tf-item"><span class="circle-box"></span> Milk takes the shape of its glass.</div>

<h3>🎨 Drawing: One Liquid, Three Shapes</h3>
<p style="font-size:10.5px; color:#555;">Draw the same juice in a tall glass, a wide bowl, and a round jar.</p>

<h3>🔍 Investigation: Liquid Hunt</h3>
<div class="activity-box">
<p>Look in your kitchen with a grown-up. Find three liquids. Guess if each one is thick or thin. Write them below.</p>

<h3>🔬 Coming Up Wednesday</h3>
<div class="activity-box">
<p>You will race liquids to see which flows fastest. You will layer oil and water. Ask a grown-up for honey, oil, and water!</p>
