⭐ Greek Myths Review

Week 7 • Friday • Showing What We Know

📖 Reading Time

What a week of gods, heroes, and monsters! We learned that myths are old stories the Greeks told to explain the world. Twelve gods were believed to live on Mount Olympus: Zeus with his lightning, Poseidon with his trident, and wise Athena, who gave her name to Athens.

We met the hero Heracles and his Twelve Labors, from wrestling a lion to battling the many-headed Hydra. We heard how clever Odysseus tricked Troy with a giant wooden horse full of hidden soldiers.

And we discovered that myths live on today — in words like 'odyssey,' in brand names like Nike, and in movies and books. These stories are more than 2,500 years old, and people still love them!
