<p><strong>Tutankhamun</strong> — we call him King Tut — became pharaoh when he was only about nine years old. That's just a little older than you! He ruled Egypt for about ten years, more than 3,300 years ago.</p>
<p>In 1922, an explorer named <strong>Howard Carter</strong> found King Tut's tomb hidden in a rocky valley called the Valley of the Kings. When Carter peeked through a small hole, someone asked, 'Can you see anything?' He answered, 'Yes — wonderful things!'</p>
<p>Inside were more than 5,000 treasures: a golden chariot, jeweled boxes, games, and even the king's sandals. Most famous of all was King Tut's golden mask, made of about 10 kilograms of shining gold. Because the tomb was hidden so well, robbers never found it — so historians got to study everything!</p>
