## CRITICAL ISSUES 🚨
### ISSUE 1: "undress" used nonsensically in stories — TEACHES WRONG MEANING
**This is the most serious issue.** "Undress" means specifically "to take off clothes from a person." The stories use it in ways that are completely wrong and would teach Grepples incorrect usage.

> **WRONG.** This implies "undressed" means "exposed" or "embarrassed" — which is NOT the meaning we're teaching (and not age-appropriate for 2nd grade anyway).
**Thursday Story (P1):**
> "Even the museum visitors weren't **undressed by the excitement**."
>
> **WRONG.** Same problem — "undressed" doesn't mean "overwhelmed" or "surprised."
**Wednesday Story (P1):**
> "even Jack was no longer **undressing his excitement**."

> **WRONG.** "Undressing excitement" is meaningless.
**Friday Review Reading (P1):**
> "The class wasn't **undressed by how much we learned**."

> **WRONG.** Again, nonsensical.
**Fix needed:** Either replace "undress" with a different prefix word, OR rewrite ALL story usages to use "undress" correctly (e.g., "She had to **undress** after playing outside in the rain."). The current usage appears in 5 places across all 5 days — this is a systemic error.
### ISSUE 2: "dishonest" used with non-person subjects
**Wednesday Story (P1):**
> "This place isn't **dishonest** about being mysterious."

> **WRONG.** "Dishonest" applies to PEOPLE who lie or deceive. A "place" cannot be dishonest. This teaches incorrect collocation.
**Fix needed:** Rewrite to use "dishonest" with a person (e.g., "Jack wasn't being **dishonest** — he really was afraid of the dark forest.")
### ISSUE 3: No Teacher Guide generated ⚠️
The `generate_teacher_guide()` call was commented out due to API mismatch with the `teacher_guide.py` module. Week 9 has no Teacher_Guide/ folder.
**Fix needed:** Generate teacher guide with proper kwargs.
### ISSUE 4: "undress" is a poor choice word for 2nd grade prefix list ⚠️
While technically a valid prefix word (un + dress), "undress":
- Has very limited natural usage (only applies to people removing clothes)
- Doesn't fit naturally into stories alongside adventure/science/exploration themes
- Cannot be used metaphorically without being confusing or inappropriate for 2nd grade
- All 5 stories struggled to use it correctly, proving the point
**Recommendation:** Replace "undress" with a better prefix word like **undo** (but only 4 letters — too short), **unsafe** (6 letters ✅), **uncertain** (9 letters ✅), or **uneven** (6 letters ✅).
### ISSUE 5: Thursday story — "The lock was unpacked from the dusty box" ⚠️
Slightly awkward. Locks aren't typically "unpacked" — items inside boxes are unpacked. The lock could be "found" or "removed" from the box. Not a major error but reads oddly.
### ISSUE 6: Wednesday story — "cabin that needed to be remaken" ⚠️
"Remaken" is not standard English. The past participle of "remake" is "**remade**." Should read: "a cabin that needed to be **remade**."
### ISSUE 7: Monday "Add the Prefix" activity — good but could be expanded ✅/⚠️
The activity has 4 items (un+happy, un+pack, re+open, dis+agree). Only 4 exercises for the full page space. Consider adding 4-8 more items to fill the section better.
### ISSUE 8: Tuesday "Remember This!" — Pronoun box seems misplaced ⚠️
Tuesday has a pronoun review box (the same as Monday's grammar focus). Pronouns were the Monday grammar topic. Tuesday should ideally build on Monday's grammar or have a different focus. For prefixes week, a more relevant "Remember This" would be about how to identify prefixes specifically.
### ISSUE 9: Wednesday "undressing his excitement" is grammatically incorrect as well 🚨
Beyond being semantically wrong, "undressing his excitement" uses "undressing" as a transitive verb with "excitement" as the object — but "undress" takes a PERSON as the object (you undress yourself, or you undress a child). The grammar structure is wrong too.
