# 2nd Grade Science - 32 Week Course Plan

## Overview
This course follows NGSS standards with hands-on investigations, observation skills, and simple experiments. Each week includes learning objectives, activities, and assessment ideas.

## FALL: Physical Science - Matter and Its Interactions (Weeks 1-10)

### Week 1: Introduction to Scientific Observation
**Focus:** Learning to observe carefully and record findings

### Week 3: Hard, Soft, Rough, Smooth
**Focus:** Detailed examination of surface properties
